Homework before the 2019 Y-PLAN Policy Summit: Watch Last Year’s Youth Challenge Video!

ByY-PLAN Team March 28, 2019

The second annual Y-PLAN Regional Summit is around the corner! Join us on Thursday April 25th for the 2019 Y-PLAN Policy Summit: Planning for a More Inclusive and Resilient Region at the UC Berkeley International House.

Over 100 student representatives and an equal number of civic leaders attended last year’s Y-PLAN Regional Summit at the UC Berkeley Alumni House. A majority of last year’s projects were a part of the Y-PLAN Resilient by Design Youth Challenge where 800+ students from around the Bay Area region developed proposals for adapting to climate change and fostering resilience in their own communities. Watch and read coverage on the 2018 Youth Summit.

Speaking of that legacy, have you seen our short film on last year’s Youth Challenge? Check it out below!
